Day 01 (24.07.2010)  The arrival of delegates from Penang, Selangor, Wilayah and Perak at the Marina Island Jetty to catch the ferry to Pangkor Island at 3pm. A total of 33 participants inclusive of spouse and children came for the meeting cum week-end holiday.

We had the Past President Council Meeting at 5pm followed by the CEC meeting at 5.30pm. Dinner was at 7.30pm followed by fellowship of spirited drinking party to celebrate the Dato'ship of our Mohanadas. After having finished 4 bottles of hard liquor, the drinking session finally ended with the midnight swim from 11.30pm to 12.30am. A truly fantastic night to remember - seeing founder members and chatting with old friends of the Association.

When we disembark from our boat, we saw this great guy sleeping soundly on the jetty floor with all his personal effects very well arranged - another Malaysia boleh!

Gentlemen in red is Dato' Tan Yee Khan, a former Malaysian badminton player who won the 1967 Thomas Cup. He was elected to the World Badminton Hall of Fame in 1998. He now runs this Sea View Hotel & Holiday Resort in Pangkor Island.

Day 02 (25.07.2010) ADC Conference. After a fantastic breakfast from 7am to 10am, the ADC commenced its meeting in the resort conference room at 10am sharp. The conference went smoothly with the election of new office bearers for the year 2010. After lunch at 12.30, we check-out of the resort and proceed to a shop in town for satay-fish and ikan-bilis. We took the 3.45pm ferry back to Teluk Batik for our journey back home.

  2. Excellent but would like to leave some food for thought. Kudos and congratulations to all for being still active, fit and passionate about OBA (should also add me too although I am now in Penang and yet to get hold of Gunn). My heartfelt gratitude to all of you. However, it is all old faces and where are the new ones? It is time for us to groom new people to take over. Please think about it
