As the incoming President, Mr Gunn stated that, irrespective of the branches that the CEC members comes from, everyone who attend can contribute. If all work together with the same interest and dedication, he was sure that MOBYA will progress. Whatever decision made today may look good or bad 3 months down the line. He stated that we have make changes along the way to adapt to changing circumstances. He thanked past CEC members and look forward to working with the new CEC members who will maintain the fort for many years to come. MOBYA also allow us to make friends all over the place. We not only develop fellowship but also more understanding. He urged all to understand that CEC members are volunteers.

Immediate Past President, Connie Foong presented the gift to Sally Gunn, P.J.K.

Mr Val Allan said he has more than 50 years experiences in the Outward Bound School joined MOBYA with the blessing of the Past Presidents, especially Mr Dhana and Sir Steven Soh. When he started the Children Adventure course in OBS, he was able to get help from a few of the past Presidents especially from Penang and Selangor with just one call. He indicated the need for new blood into MOBYA and for the seniors to train them to takeover. He hoped that the new blood will introduce their friends to join MOBYA too.
