Selangor Branch activities list 2014

Dear Members,

Please find the activity program for the year.

Upcoming event:

1. 
BACK PACKING EXPEDITION TO SUMATRA 11th - 16th June 2014. Port Klang - Dumai (Sumatra) via ferry - Pekan Baru/Danau Meninjau/ Bukit Tinggi (land travel via chartered transport) - Padang - Fly back to KL (via Airasia). Estimated cost bet RM 800-1000/- all inclusive (NOTE: Group size limited to 12 places only) Kindly contact me for further info. Priority to join : MOBYA members, otherwise non-members may join in; by invitation only.

2. 
2nd. Instructor's training 13 (Sat) - 14 (Sun) Sept 2014.
Rope Management at Damai Caves, Batu Caves; Selangor. This will come with an overnight stay in Gua Damai (if arrangement can be made). We may do abseiling & rope rescue. Estimated cost between RM 250 -350/ pax.

3. 
3rd. Instructor's Training ; Camp Sentosa, Chenderiang, Perak. 8th-9th Nov 2014. (Estimated cost RM 100/- pax).

4. 
13th Outdoor Pursuit Youth Holiday Camp (OPHYC) Sentosa Camp, Chenderiang, Perak. 10th - 14th Dec 2014.

NOTE: All the above are tentative dates (as confirmation with site operators yet to be made at the point of sending this notice .

The first instructor's training was conducted on the 28 Feb - 2nd March 2014 at Extreme Park,Tambun, Ipoh, Perak . 23 OPHYC Instructors attended. Activities included; Team building/Tunnel adventure (6th mile tunnel in Tambun - @ 700 M ) / archery / raft building / go kart / Futsal / paintball/ badminton.
